冬至节气知多少
Winter Solstice
中国自古有“气始于冬至”的说法,即冬至气候转寒,应该及时御寒补阳、强身健体,是养生的最好时节。在冬至,中国有喝羊汤,吃枸杞、萝卜等养生习俗。
Since ancient times, there has been a Chinese saying that "Qi begins at the Winter Solstice", which means that the Winter Solstice is a turning point when the coldest day of a year is coming. Thus it is time to keep warm and build up a good physique. In the Winter Solstice, China has the traditions of having mutton soup, eating goji berry, radish, etc. Many other health preservation practices also start from this day.

Liu Zhengxi from Egypt mentioned walking after meals, which is a special exercise technique for Chinese people. As a Chinese saying goes: "Walk around after meals and live to ninety-nine." Acupuncture (Zhen Jiu)
针灸于2006年收入国家级非物质文化遗产名录。针法是指把针具按照一定的角度刺入患者的特定穴位,运用捻转与提插等针刺手法对特定部位进行刺激从而达到治疗疾病的目的。也有人会采用针灸来减肥,不过效果因人而异。
Acupuncture was included in the National Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2006.It refers to the therapy of piercing the needle into a specific acupoint of the patient at a certain angle, and use acupuncture techniques such as twisting and lifting to stimulate specific parts to achieve therapeutic effect. Some people also use acupuncture to lose weight, but the effect varies from person to person.

Moxibustion (Ai Jiu)
很多人都听说过针灸。但在古代,针灸一词是针和灸两种不同疗法的合称。针指的是我们现在常说的针灸,而灸则是指艾灸。
Most of us have heard of acupuncture(Zhen Jiu). But in fact, it is a combination of two different treatments: acupuncture(Zhen) and moxibustion(Jiu).
中国从远古时就有关于灸的记载。中医针灸疗法中的灸法,是指用艾叶制成的艾灸材料产生的艾热刺激体表穴位或特定部位,通过激发经气的活动调整人体紊乱的生理生化功能,从而达到防病治病的目的。
China has records of moxibustion since ancient times. The moxibustion method of traditional Chinese medicine uses moxa produced by wormwood leaves to stimulate body surface acupoints or specific parts, and regulates human disorders by invigorating meridian physiological and biochemical functions, so as to prevent or cure diseases.
